what genre?

I'm not familiar with the Dance genre but this is ok overall. A little too repetitive for my tastes, but hey that's your style so I wont critique you there. But on the whole, you did a pretty good job with the mixing, song structure, etc.

k235 responds:

thx..this was hacked together really quickly, i wanted to change a lot of stuff but a couple people seemed to like it like it is, so i never changed anything in the end :D

more techno

VERY techno-y buildup, song structure, etc. Has a traditional feel, but with small differences here and there. I cant think of any criticism so you're off the hook for now! :)

k235 responds:

haha. yeah the techno standards sure are in there, i didn't even shy away from using those long snare rolls :O

modernized nintendo 64 goodness!

Not my favorite but still good. I really like the ancient synthesizer feel. The mood is pretty good too, sort of calming but still somewhat modivating.

k235 responds:

thx, yeah it was just a fun experiment with c64 sounds :)

bad recording

it was ok. You probably put alot of work into the harmonies but sorry, the recording just ruined it. You've got really bad noise and your tone is bad. Also, I'm not sure what that is in the background (im guessing a snare drum?) but it's causing distortion. Sorry, but this aint cuttin it.

nope.

3 for effort. Other than that, the instrumentation was lacking a lot. I can see how you're trying to make sort of a hard-ass sound, real ballsy. You were getting there but I think you really missed. Keep trying, but this isn't getting my vote.

progressive!

Like progressive techno... only in standard Microsoft MIDI goodness! haha. Loved the instrumentation but not the instruments. I think this would've been one of the best songs in the world if the insturments weren't so generic. But this song was still incredible! 5/5 and not afraid to admit it!

And on an additional note, your beat making skills (with the drums) are amazing in this song.

Billtog responds:

Thanks. I'm still working with SynthFont, and I can't seem to find a piano patch that sounds good and works with fast piano runs. Since I can't have the piano sound like ass and everything else sound great (since piano is pretty dominant here), I decided to just leave it all in standard MIDI.

ow!

sorry I cant review this song... Theres some kind of weird popping sound and I really cant stand stuff like that... I wonder what its caused by?

well

At first I thought maybe because it was written in 7/4 but its not haha... is this a cover or something? haha im stumped.

great song, love the mood. reminded me of a game called um.. Time Machine or somethign like taht. One of those puzzle games. really hard too, I never beat it.

cool synth!

I like the synth in this one! I've never heard the original but this sounds like it should be it.

Good stuff.

All the instrument parts fit really well... and you got me at 1:30 :)

The only complaint I have is that it ended too quickly. It sounded like it was leading into something and I was waiting for it but it never happened. Oh well, I still gave 'er a 5. Nice work!

Sanryd responds:

Thanks. This song is getting some of the best reviews I've had. To be honest i made this in an afternoon for about 2 hours worth of work. I just didn't even see that it could go any further. But ya, since you said something... i'm having ideas! PM me if you have ideas too, because that would make my creative job alot easier... :) ... and thanks again for reviewing, they are so few and far between.

PM or Email me if you want custom music for your flash.
